Huawei Unveils Four Innovative All-Optical Solutions for F5.5G AI Networks

At the recent Green All-Optical Network Forum held during the MWC 25 in Barcelona, Kim Jin, the Vice President of Huawei’s Optical Product Line, revealed groundbreaking all-optical solutions aimed at enabling global operators to establish all-optical F5.5G networks. This initiative is purposed to foster mutual prosperity in this intelligent era dominated by artificial intelligence.

As the global AI industry flourishes, there is a notable acceleration in the commercial deployment of broadband networks capable of 10 Gbps, alongside fully optical urban networks featuring just 1 millisecond latency. Huawei’s innovative solutions offer comprehensive tools for implementing such networks for operators worldwide.

Optical Access Network Enhancements

With the rise of AI, COs must innovate towards 50G PON to provide ubiquitous 10GE access. Huawei previously launched the first intelligent OLT solution, the MA5800T X17. Currently, the company is introducing the X15, X8, and X2 models which cater to a variety of capacity needs.
