ADAMA Projects Financial Outcomes for the Entire Year of 2025 Amid Strategic Changes

ADAMA Ltd. Financial Projections for 2025

ADAMA Ltd., a prominent player in the crop protection industry, has recently shared its financial projections for the full year of 2025. The company’s efforts under its 'Fight Forward' strategic transformation plan are starting to show results, pointing towards an optimistic future despite some challenges ahead.

In its latest announcement, ADAMA is projecting an overall revenue decrease of about 1% to 4% compared to 2024. This anticipated dip is primarily attributed to lower pricing across its products and a strategic shift towards optimizing its portfolio and geographical reach. Particularly, the company has chosen to step back from selling some basic chemical products, which has played a significant role in revenue fluctuations. Moreover, the market conditions in Turkey during the first quarter have added to the downward pressure on sales figures.

The pricing landscape remains tough for ADAMA, impacted by an excess of active ingredient production capabilities, rising interest rates, and declining commodity prices that have strained distributors and farmers alike. However, there is a silver lining. The company is expecting an increase in adjusted EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) for 2025, reflecting better operational efficiency and reduced costs of inventory sold, which have helped in improving both gross profit and profit margins compared to 2024.

One major highlight of ADAMA’s financial outlook is the expected range for adjusted net profit, which is forecast to be between $4 million and $54 million for 2025. This stands in stark contrast to the loss of $206 million reported in 2024. Factors contributing to this turnaround include a significant increase in adjusted operating profits, along with lowered tax and financial expenses.

Metric Estimated Full Year 2025 Full Year 2024
--------------------
Net profit (loss) attributable to shareholders (USD millions) 4 - 54 (206)
Earnings per share (USD) 0.0016 - 0.0231 (0.0885)
Net profit (loss) (RMB millions) 25 - 385 (1,468)
Earnings per share (RMB) 0.0107 - 0.1651 (0.6302)

The adjustments in net profit take into account several non-operational and non-cash items that are excluded from its calculations. Such items include non-cash amortization expenses and restructuring costs connected to their ongoing strategic transformation initiatives. These estimations are considered preliminary and are based on discussions between the company and external auditors, with the final figures to be revealed with full financial statements expected post March 26, 2026.

Moreover, despite the foreseen decline in revenues, ADAMA expects to see improved reported EBITDA and a reduced net loss compared to 2024, indicating the benefits of their ongoing transformation strategies.
