From April 22 to May 3, 2026, the streets of Kagurazaka will transform into an immersive theater landscape with the innovative production of
'Hono Akarido'. This unique theatrical experience invites participants to stroll through the charming streets of Kagurazaka dressed in traditional Japanese attire, holding a lantern, while listening to captivating stories via the
Locatone™ audio AR app.
The experience is designed by
Long Run Planning Co., Ltd. along with the creative immersive theater team
Mukei Chokoku. The production will be held at the site of a former school in Iidabashi, Tokyo, adding historical depth to the storytelling.

Participants take on the role of explorers, walking through the streets where they will encounter characters inspired by the historical figures of Kagurazaka, such as
Hanako Kagurazaka,
Kyoka Izumi, and
