This initiative follows proceedings involving Barclays PLC and Barclays Bank PLC and aims to compensate harmed investors.

Who Is Eligible?


To be considered for potential compensation, investors need to meet specific criteria. Those who acquired Barclays ADRs, traded under the symbol BCS on the New York Stock Exchange, or Barclays Ordinary Shares, traded under the symbol BARC on the London Stock Exchange, between June 26, 2019, and March 27, 2022, are eligible to participate. This period is crucial as it defines the Relevant Period for the Fair Fund, created in response to the SEC's directives.

The Plan of Distribution


The Fair Fund's administration is guided by a Plan of Distribution authorized by the SEC on August 1, 2025. The plan outlines how the compensation will be allocated to eligible claimants. Each claim's recognized loss will determine the amount of compensation an investor may receive. The allocation process occurs in two phases; firstly, those who suffered losses from Barclays ADRs will receive distributions, and then, remaining funds will assist those with losses from Barclays Ordinary Shares.
