Hauck: A Century of Family-Oriented Design Making Its Way to the U.S.

Introducing Hauck to the American Market

Hauck, the renowned German baby and children's brand, is making a significant leap into the American market, bringing over a century of family-focused design and innovation. This expansion aims to deliver products that prioritise safety, comfort, and long-lasting quality, traits that have established Hauck as a trusted name among families across Europe for generations.

Founded over a century ago in Germany, Hauck has forged a reputation for creating essential items that enhance family life. Their extensive range of products includes highchairs, strollers, and various juvenile products designed with a practical philosophy in mind: to grow alongside children and seamlessly integrate into everyday life.

Maik Stockmann, the President of Hauck USA, shared insights on this exciting milestone: "Entering the U.S. market is a meaningful step for hauck. It allows us to share our products with more families through retailers parents already know and trust." Hauck’s commitment to producing durable products that offer long-term value remains at the core of their mission as they navigate this new territory.

The U.S. introduction is anchored by two of Hauck's flagship products: the Arketa+ and Alpha+ highchair sets. Both of these highchairs are designed with adaptability in mind, reflecting Hauck’s philosophy of longevity and versatility. The Arketa+ Set, which targets family mealtime comfort, features 13 adjustable seating and footrest positions, a cushioned ergonomic baby seat reducer, and a tilt-proof construction. It can cater to children from six months to adults weighing up to 286 lbs, and is crafted from FSC-certified beech wood, paired with a GRS-certified recycled tray, merging sustainability with design.

On the other hand, the Alpha+ Set stands as a value-driven option that grows with the family. It includes a complete set comprising a tray, a seat reducer, a wooden bumper bar, and a secure 5-point harness. This highchair supports the same age group as the Arketa+, accommodating users up to 198 lbs, and is also made from responsibly sourced FSC-certified European beech wood.

Aside from the flagship products, Hauck’s plan involves an ongoing expansion of its thoughtfully designed assortment of baby and children's products tailored to support modern family life. As part of this strategy, Hauck products are readily available through major retailers like Target, Walmart, and Amazon.

This transition into the U.S. market not only highlights Hauck's dedication to enhancing family experiences but also showcases their commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable products. By focusing on features that appeal to contemporary parents, Hauck ensures that its offerings are not only innovative but also trusted by families navigating the complexities of parenthood.
