This specially designed event will immerse guests in the fascinating world of crafting sake and distilling spirits, encompassing not just tastings but also an exploration of local culture and history. Under the guidance of the brewery representative, Mr. Yoshihiro Okazumi, attendees can look forward to a compelling keynote speech, alongside interactive city walks that reveal the heartfelt stories contained within each sip of sake.
The meal experience further enhances this cultural voyage, as participants will savor specially prepared dishes at "Matcha China." This modern Chinese culinary interpretation reflects the community-building project initiated by the Rice and Agave team, offering an exciting menu designed to complement the beverages from both the brewery and the distillery.
Moreover, guests will also have the chance to engage with the unique Namahage culture at the Namahage Museum and the Oga Shinzan Heritage Museum, where they can understand the strong ties between food, drink, and local traditions.

1. Special Lecture & Sake Tasting
A highlight of the tour is the special lecture by Mr. Okazumi, where he will share insights into the craft sake revolution they are part of, as well as the brewery's vision for the future. Participants will have the opportunity to taste various craft sakes while hearing about the backstory and flavor profiles of each.
2. Visit to Rice and Agave Brewery
Founded in the fall of 2021, the Rice and Agave Brewery is known for its innovative craft sake, breaking traditional molds. Guests will be treated to a rare behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process in their beautifully renovated space, which was once a train station.
3. Visit to Sanae Kyo Distillery
At the Sanae Kyo Distillery, visitors will learn about the process of transforming sake byproducts into unique spirits, embodying a circular economy approach in their production. The distillery, located in a repurposed metalworking factory, showcases an open and inviting atmosphere.
4. Lunch at Matcha China
The fusion of local ingredients will charm your palate at Matcha China, where a neo-Chinese menu awaits. This special selection is designed to pair harmoniously with selected beverages, revealing new flavors along with traditional tastes.
5. Natural Springs

Participants will stay at the recently opened Hotel Kinoshita, located right in front of Oga Station. The hotel features gender-segregated large public baths and saunas, providing the perfect relaxation after a day of exploration.

A draw will randomly select successful participants, with notification sent out on June 2, 2026. Prices for the tour are set at 34,800 yen for shared accommodations and 39,800 yen for solo occupancy.
