Innovative International Hackathon Concludes with AI Development Excellence
Human Resocia, a leading personnel service provider based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, has recently made headlines following the successful conclusion of the first ever San'in Regional International Hackathon, Hack Yakumo 2025, held from November 4 to 14, 2025. The event witnessed participation from engineers hailing from seven different countries, including Eastern Europe and India, creating a platform for technology and cultural exchange.
The hackathon was designed as a collaborative event where multinational teams worked together to address social and regional issues using AI-driven solutions. A team that included engineers from our Indian branch developed a groundbreaking app themed around "Pilgrimages and Constellations," earning them the top honor during this prestigious event.

Insights from Participant Mr. Deerlaj, Indian Engineer
Deerlaj reflected on his experience, stating, "Participating in this multinational hackathon was incredibly valuable for me. Working with colleagues from different countries and cultures provided perspectives that I normally wouldn’t encounter, resulting in a motivating and informative experience. Our team, consisting of three members with diverse backgrounds, prioritized clear communication and respecting each other's strengths, allowing us to collaborate beyond cultural and language barriers."
The application developed, 'Seito - Starry Pilgrim,' combines the idea of pilgrimage with the creation of personalized constellations, fostering deeper connections with the region. The team excelled in UI/UX design and demonstrated robust skills in system architecture and user modeling throughout the project.
Deerlaj noted, "The precision and creativity embedded in Japan’s technological culture are admirable. This experience will empower me to create value internationally while pursuing diverse projects to further enhance my skills as a full-stack engineer."
