Shulman Rogers Announces New Shareholders
Potomac, Md. – December 3, 2025
In a significant move to recognize and elevate talent within its ranks, Shulman Rogers has proudly announced that Schyler A. Bailey and Hunter M. Haines have been promoted to Shareholders.
This announcement comes as a part of the firm’s commitment to fostering skilled attorneys and reflects the remarkable performance and trust that both individuals have cultivated through years of dedication and service to their clients and colleagues.
Schyler A. Bailey – A Leader in Commercial Litigation and Real Estate
Schyler A. Bailey's elevation is rooted in her extensive practice as a litigator specializing in commercial litigation and real estate disputes. With a specialization in construction law, Schyler plays a pivotal role in helping clients navigate the complexities of construction contracts, contractual obligations, and ensuing disputes.
Her proactive approach assists various stakeholders—subcontractors, contractors, owners, and design professionals—in managing potential risks effectively and resolving conflicts efficiently, be it during the project phase or through mediation and arbitration.
Schyler's recent accomplishments include being admitted to the prestigious Construction Lawyer's Society of America, alongside her role as Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association's Construction Section Council for the 2025-2026 term. Moreover, she is also a Board Member and Co-Chair of the Young Professionals Committee for the Building Congress Exchange, a local organization dedicated to promoting the construction industry in and around the Metropolitan Baltimore Area.
Marianne Crampton, P.E., Principal at MK Consulting Engineers LLC, expressed her commendation, saying, "Schyler's counsel has been instrumental to our success. Her combination of deep legal knowledge with a practical, solutions-driven approach sets her apart."
Hunter M. Haines – Advocate for Growth and Innovation
Hunter M. Haines, on the other hand, has been a steadfast advisor to entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and burgeoning growth companies. His expertise spans a broad range of sectors, including fintech, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, consumer goods, retail, and financial services.
Clients recognize Hunter's keen insights and diligence, thoroughly appreciating his adherence to their overarching business goals. His commitment to understanding clients’ unique needs allows him to offer tailored solutions devoid of preconceived notions.
Nelson Jones, CEO of Kula Technology Labs Inc., shared, "Given that our company is headquartered in London, it was critical to comprehend the legal intricacies of doing business in the U.S., and Hunter instilled confidence in us throughout the process."
A Commitment to Excellence
Samuel M. Spiritos, Managing Shareholder at Shulman Rogers, praised Hunter and Schyler’s achievements, stating, "They embody the best of what we strive for at Shulman Rogers. Their elevation to Shareholder acknowledges their respective contributions and enhances the services we provide to our clients across the region.
