ohpner Collaborates with LOWYA for Innovative Ad Campaign to Showcase Unique Home Styling

ohpner Teams Up with LOWYA for Engaging Ad Campaign

In an exciting partnership, ohpner Inc., a Shibuya-based marketing company, has taken on the creation and distribution of commercials for LOWYA – a notable furniture and interior brand operated by Vega Corporation in Fukuoka. LOWYA, founded in 2004, embraces the idea of freedom in lifestyle choices and aims to help people style their lives in a way that feels distinctly their own.

Having achieved remarkable growth within the e-commerce space, LOWYA is now stepping into the world of physical retail with 11 stores across cities including Fukuoka, Tokyo, and Osaka, having just announced additional openings in the near future. This approach enables the brand to cater to a wide demographic by offering stylish yet affordable designs that resonate with Japanese households.

With a strong online presence, LOWYA has amassed over 2.3 million followers on social media by skillfully combining expertise and approachability in the domain of interior design. They consistently engage with their audience, sharing their brand’s philosophy and community-driven vision.

Launch of New Commercials

The new commercials by LOWYA encapsulate the essence of their brand – the ability to procure trendy home decor at affordable prices, creating inviting spaces without the need for exceptional taste. The tagline “TRY LOWYA” invites viewers to witness remarkable transformations within homes facilitated by LOWYA’s versatile furniture offerings.

In total, two commercials have been launched, both themed around the relatable scenario of unexpected guests.

Functional Furniture Episode

The first ad, titled “Functional Furniture Episode,” begins with a protagonist receiving a text from a friend, saying, “I’ll come over soon.” Overcome with feelings of panic about her untidy home, she turns to three thoughtfully designed LOWYA pieces to enhance her space. This scenario masterfully highlights the brand’s strengths in delivering stylish yet practical solutions for modern living.

Guest Arrival Episode

The second commercial focuses on a sibling dynamic where a brother drops a line saying, “I’m coming over to stay sometime.” Here, the spotlight falls on a sofa bed that has evolved based on customer feedback, serving multiple purposes – a sofa, bed, and lounge chair, perfectly aligned with LOWYA’s commitment to user-centric design. The narrative crafts an image of how easy it is to create a chic and comfortable environment, underscoring the brand’s mission through a heartwarming sibling exchange.

Both commercials feature actress Asuka Kawadoko from Fukuoka, seamlessly weaving local talent into the narrative. The soundtrack includes “Cream Soda” from the band Oishikuru Melonpan, also hailing from Fukuoka. This combination of local artistry serves to reinforce LOWYA's rooted philosophy of embodying a lifestyle that feels personal and relatable to the community.
