Kino's Bookstore Name Change Announcement

Kino's Bookstore, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kinokuniya Company, has announced the upcoming name change of its retail locations in Sendagaya, Kichijoji, and Tama Center. This transition is part of their ongoing efforts to enhance their brand and customer experience.

The first of these changes will take effect on November 13, 2025, when the Sendagaya location will officially change its name to Kino's Bookstore Sendagaya. To celebrate this rebranding, a promotional campaign will run from November 13 to November 19, 2025. During this period, the first 100 customers who spend over 2,000 yen each day will receive a stylish eco-bag to take home. In addition, customers will earn triple Keio points on their purchases.

Next, the Kino's Bookstore Kichijoji will adopt its new name on November 21, 2025. The same promotional offer of a free eco-bag for the first 100 customers making purchases over 2,000 yen will be available from November 21 to November 27, 2025. Notably, from November 21 to November 25, shoppers can also enjoy a special promotion for 10 times the usual number of Keio points for their purchases at the Kichijoji location.

Lastly, the Tama Center location will undergo its name transition to Kino's Bookstore Tama Center on November 27, 2025. Customers will be welcomed to participate in another promotional event that will last from November 27 to December 3, 2025, featuring the same eco-bag giveaway for the first 100 daily customers who spend over 2,000 yen, as well as triple Keio points on their purchases.

As of the end of 2025, the name changes will extend to all remaining stores currently operating under the name Keibundo Bookstore, which will sequentially adopt the Kino's branding. With this change, Kino's Bookstore aims to continue to provide customers with exceptional value and opportunities to discover quality literature that enriches their lives.
