This collaboration is set to introduce the innovative Care Orchestration Platform—GrayOS— to Elekta's ONE OIS customers, aiming to optimize the scheduling of oncology appointments across North America.

As André Diamant, CEO of Gray, pointed out, delays and inefficiencies in scheduling not only detrimentally affect patient experiences but also add significant strain on administrative personnel tasked with managing these logistics. The introduction of GrayOS promises to alleviate these challenges by automating and optimizing scheduling, allowing clinics to efficiently manage patient appointments based on pre-defined criteria.

The hospital's metrics indicate a remarkable 17 percent rise in treatment rates within the targeted timelines stipulated by Cancer Care Ontario. Moreover, they have experienced a dramatic 58 percent decrease in both administrative wait times and the duration needed to schedule new patient appointments. They also report a 42 percent drop in the backlog of scheduling requests, showcasing the effectiveness of leveraging technology to streamline operations.
