A Culinary Adventure at FOOD LAB
On July 16, 2026, Brand Bank Company is set to unveil its latest culinary endeavor, the FOOD LAB, located inside the
COMMONS TACHIKAWA TACHIHI in Tachikawa City, Tokyo. This innovative, seasonal eatery promises a tantalizing exploration of flavors, starting with a vibrant menu dedicated to traditional Okinawan cuisine.
Celebrating Okinawa with the ‘Okinawa Champuru LAB’
The inaugural theme for FOOD LAB showcases

- - Goya Champuru: A traditional dish featuring a stir-fry of bitter melon (goya), Spam, tofu, and egg, priced at 680 yen (tax included 748 yen).
- - Fu Champuru: A local favorite using Okinawan wheat gluten, combined with fresh vegetables and eggs, also at 680 yen.
- - Mochi Okinawa Soba Champuru: This dish creatively incorporates chewy Okinawa noodles with tuna and vegetables, priced at 680 yen.
- - Tofu Champuru: A delightful balance of pork, vegetables, and the gentle taste of tofu at 680 yen.
In addition to these savory offerings, the FOOD LAB will serve popular Okinawan desserts that include:
- - Sata Andagi: A traditional sweet potato doughnut served for 150 yen (tax included 165 yen).
- - Okinawa Zenzai: A refreshing bowl of shaved ice topped with sweet red beans, colorful ice cream, and mochi, priced at 680 yen (tax included 748 yen).
- - Blue Seal Ice Cream: This beloved local ice cream brand offers a smooth and flavorful dessert for 300 yen (tax included 330 yen).

To celebrate its opening, FOOD LAB will host an event from July 16 until July 23. The first 30 customers each day who dine in will receive a complimentary takeout Pork Onigiri (rice ball), delighting guests while supplies last!
