Chick-fil-A's 2026 True Inspiration Awards

Chick-fil-A, Inc. has recently announced its commitment to supporting community-focused nonprofit organizations through its True Inspiration Awards® program. This year, an impressive $6 million in grants will be distributed among 56 global nonprofits, enhancing the outreach and services they provide to local communities.

Since the inception of the True Inspiration Awards in 2015, Chick-fil-A has granted nearly $40 million to nonprofits across the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.K., and, for the first time, Singapore. This expansion marks a significant stride in Chick-fil-A's global giving initiative.

Spotlight on Award Recipients

Among the standout recipients is Faith Kitchen, a nonprofit located in San Antonio, Texas, which received the largest grant of $350,000 as the S. Truett Cathy Honoree. Faith Kitchen's mission has consistently focused on feeding and providing support to individuals facing homelessness in the region. Their efforts include serving over 5,000 individuals annually with nutritious meals and essential job training programs.

In Singapore, Fei Yue Community Services became the first recipient of the True Inspiration Awards in the region, receiving $170,000 SGD. This organization dedicates its resources to supporting socially withdrawn youth, linking them with mental health resources and fostering supportive relationships.

Further highlighting the program's diverse support, the Living and Learning Enrichment Center in Detroit, Michigan received a grant of $125,000. This organization is vital in assisting teens and young adults with disabilities as they transition into adulthood.

Empowering Local Communities

For Oak Cliff, a Texas-based group specializing in educational and workforce development programs, has been awarded $200,000. This funding will enhance their culturally responsive programs tailored to the South Oak Cliff community, substantially improving accessibility to vital community resources.

Moreover, the San Diego Rescue Mission received $125,000 to bolster their trauma-informed care initiatives for families confronted with homelessness. Capital City Youth Services in Tallahassee, Florida, has also been honored with a grant aimed at expanding mental health support for at-risk youth in the region.

Voting and Community Participation

The True Inspiration Awards program also involves community engagement, allowing Chick-fil-A One® Members to vote for nominated nonprofits using the Chick-fil-A® App. This year saw an impressive turnout, with nearly 700,000 votes cast, showcasing the substantial public interest in supporting local organizations.

As part of this ongoing initiative, nonprofits are encouraged to submit applications or receive nominations for the 2027 True Inspiration Awards, with the application period currently open until May 1 this year. The awards are designed to honor the legacy of Chick-fil-A's founder, S. Truett Cathy, and recognize organizations that make a significant positive impact in their communities.
