Recently, during the SUPERZOO event, Badlands Ranch, the premium air-dried dog food brand founded by actress Katherine Heigl, made an extraordinary donation of more than
650,000 pounds of nourishing dog food to local rescue organizations in Las Vegas. This charitable initiative aimed to support Furgotten Friends Dog Rescue and Paw Partners Unleashed, both of which play a significant role in caring for neglected and abandoned animals in Southern Nevada.

The impactful donation includes over 61,000 bags featuring Badlands Ranch Superfood Complete, which boasts recipes such as Chicken, Bison, Beef, Wild Fish, Turkey, and Lamb, and Venison. The food will be delivered in more than 23 truckloads to ensure ample supply for distribution.

Katherine Heigl expressed her dedication to animal welfare, stating, "Every dog deserves clean, healthy food, and that includes the dogs still waiting for their forever homes. The mission of providing rescue dogs with the food they need is why I started Badlands Ranch." This strong commitment reflects Heigl's long-standing advocacy for animals in need, particularly through her involvement with rescue initiatives.

Furgotten Friends Dog Rescue specializes in rehabilitating dogs that have suffered from neglect or abandonment, aiming to restore their trust in humans.
