A recent survey conducted by Tsukuba Co., involving 3,000 individuals aged 20 to 60, highlighted concerning trends regarding what the company defines as a "sense of unwellness." As per the survey results published in November 2025, an alarming 77.6% of respondents reported feeling a general malaise, marking the third consecutive year that this statistic hovers around 80%.
The Link Between Unwellness and Sleep
As many as 85.3% of those who reported feeling unwell attributed their condition to sleep concerns. This figure highlights the significant impact sleep quality has on overall well-being. The survey reported that the leading reason for feeling unwell was aging, followed closely by sleep deprivation, which 33.4% of respondents recognized as a major contributing factor.
