The new building, which stands 14 stories high plus two basement levels, covers a vast floor area of about 26,338 square meters. Constructed from reinforced concrete and steel, the headquarters has earned the top rating of S-Class from the CASBEE (Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency), ensuring its substantial environmental performance. This consolidation, moving from various buildings into one central location, embodies the 'One Nagase' philosophy. The workplace design focuses on four key concepts: unity, co-creation, strong individuality, and a lively environment, aiming to promote productivity and comfort for all employees.

Engaging with the Community

What makes the new headquarters truly special is its commitment to community engagement. The ground floor features a community space called 'NAGASE KOBUNACHO HIROBA,' complete with a café and interactive displays where local residents can learn about the Nagase Group through engaging games. Additionally, a permanent exhibit of a traditional portable shrine, owned by the Nihonbashi Kobunachou Town Association, will be on display starting from early November.

The redesigned area will also include lush public walkways and green spaces, making it inviting not just for employees but for local residents as well. The environmental considerations extend beyond the design, with cutting-edge energy-saving technologies and resource-efficient systems incorporated throughout the building.
