On December 17, 2025, GovTech Tokyo hosted its first social career event, titled "GO! Public!" In the first half of the event, Manabu Miyasaka, the Chairman of GovTech Tokyo and Vice Governor of Tokyo, took the stage to present the accomplishments of GovTech Tokyo since its inception. His talk, titled "Achievements of GovTech Tokyo in Two Years," provided both a retrospective look and a forward-looking perspective on the organization's initiatives.

During his presentation, Miyasaka elaborated on the rationale and goals behind the "Integrated Annual Report 2025," which was published last November. He underscored the importance of reflecting on past achievements while also setting ambitious targets for the future.

The latter half of the event featured a panel session dedicated to exploring the theme of "the future of public service." The Vision of GovTech Tokyo


GovTech Tokyo began its operations in September 2023, acting as a new platform designed to promote the digital transformation (DX) of Tokyo by collaborating effectively with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and local municipalities. With its vision to contribute to over 1,700 municipalities across Japan and cities globally, GovTech Tokyo aims to transform the present state of public administration using information technology. The vision states, "Changing the present of administration with technology, transforming the future from the capital."

In light of this vision, the organization has proposed and executed groundbreaking changes, culminating in the formulation of a "Medium-term Management Plan" slated for October 2024.

The inaugural "Integrated Annual Report 2025," released on November 20, 2025, marks a significant milestone. This report aims to share progress among various collaborating sectors and strives to unify efforts towards common objectives.
