The seminar will present a practical demonstration of the capabilities of DJI’s flagship industrial drones, focusing on real-world applications of aerial photogrammetry and laser surveying. Participants will gain insights into key differences in the data collected and operational considerations for effective implementation in the field.

Comparison Demonstration

The seminar will highlight the capabilities of the Matrice 400 drone, paired with the Zenmuse L3 LiDAR system and the Zenmuse P1 visible light camera for photogrammetry. These demonstrations will facilitate a better understanding of the distinctions and applications of photogrammetry versus LiDAR technology.

Through live demos and data reviews, participants will be able to appreciate how to design operational workflows effectively between these technologies. Additionally, the seminar will include an explanation of the data analysis process using DJI Terra, bridging the gap from data acquisition to actionable insights.

Addressing Implementation Concerns

Attendees who are uncertain about upgrading their current drone systems or those considering new technology will have the chance to engage directly with specialized staff. Questions such as upgrading from Phantom 4 RTK to newer models or incorporating LiDAR into existing workflows will be addressed on a one-on-one basis. Key topics to be discussed include:

  • - Overview of drone surveying applications and decision-making criteria
  • - Introduction to surveying drones and camera modules
  • - Live demonstration flights (subject to weather conditions)
  • - Data analysis with DJI Terra
  • - Introduction to related solutions

Participant Feedback

Previous attendees have shared how the seminar has helped guide their decision-making processes:
  • - “The real-world case studies made it easier to visualize our implementation.”
  • - “It was valuable to hear the latest updates in the field.”
  • - “We had the opportunity to compare products before making a purchase decision.”
  • - “Understanding available subsidies for drone acquisition was enlightening.”

Target Audience

This seminar is geared for:
  • - Professionals in surveying, civil engineering, and construction looking to enhance operational efficiency.
  • - Individuals considering aerial photogrammetry or LiDAR for their projects.
  • - Businesses looking to utilize subsidies for drone equipment acquisition.
  • - Representatives from public agencies or local governments contemplating drone applications.
