Kinetico® Strengthens Its European Market Presence
Kinetico® Incorporated, a recognized global leader in innovative water treatment solutions, has officially announced its strategic acquisition of two prominent water treatment companies in Europe: Cielter and Enki® Water. These acquisitions are seen as pivotal steps in Kinetico's plan to enhance its local expertise and service capabilities across key markets in France and Italy.
Enhancements with Cielter in France
The acquisition of Cielter bolsters Kinetico's foothold in the Grand Est region and northeastern France. Founded in 1972 and operating out of Reims, Cielter has been delivering water treatment solutions for over five decades. It has established a strong customer base spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal markets. Their product offerings include a range of water treatment systems such as water softeners, filtration systems, reverse osmosis systems, and water fountains.
Frédéric Verson, who currently holds the position of director at Cielter, will continue to lead the operations in Reims. Under Kinetico's wing, the aim is to enhance customer relationships and service capabilities while weaving in Kinetico's innovative technologies and resources. The synergy between the teams is expected to create a streamlined approach to water treatment solutions in the area.
Expanding Operations with Enki® Water in Italy
Kinetico also aims to expand its reach in Italy through the acquisition of Enki Water, which has been Kinetico's exclusive partner in Italy since 2012. Based in Bergamo, Enki Water has cultivated a robust network of sales agencies, technical service centers, and a distribution framework across the nation, catering to both residential and commercial segments. The company's extensive portfolio includes water softening systems, reverse osmosis systems, micro- and ultrafiltration, and more.
Founded by Enrico Zanchi in 2012, and with a relationship stretching back to 2004, Enki Water has established itself as a trusted B2B supplier to the industry's leading wholesalers. Moving forward, Zanchi will remain as managing director, spearheading the ongoing operations while benefitting from Kinetico's established practices and resources, ultimately enriching its service infrastructure.
Investment in Established Local Businesses
Ana Garcia, the CEO of Kinetico, commented on the acquisitions, emphasizing the importance of both companies' longstanding relationships with customers and their commitment to high-quality service. She stated, “These acquisitions strengthen our ability to serve customers across Europe while bringing together teams with deep local knowledge and a shared commitment to water treatment.”
This strategic move reflects Kinetico’s ongoing investment in its international operations and its vision of merging established businesses with its innovative approach. The integration of local knowledge with Kinetico's advanced technologies positions the company well for future growth and innovation in the water treatment sector.
Kinetico's expansion in Europe not only enhances its market presence but also improves its capability to address the unique water treatment needs of its clientele, promoting better solutions for homes, businesses, and communities.
