The North Shore Animal League America (NSALA) is excited to announce the kickoff of the 2025 Tour for Life®, marking its 25th anniversary of an initiative that has saved countless lives. This coast-to-coast mobile pet adoption event is designed to support animal shelters and rescue organizations by raising awareness of the importance of adopting pets in need.

Starting mid-February and running through April, the Tour for Life will travel across 37 states, showcasing adoption events in 67 cities. Each stop highlights the mission of NSALA to promote the need for pet adoption and showcase the hard work of local shelters. This effort is crucial in addressing the ongoing issue of homeless pets across the United States.

The Tour for Life is not just an adoption event; it’s a movement that celebrates the dedication and unwavering commitment of volunteers and rescue workers who strive to match every animal with a loving home. According to Joanne Yohannan, Senior Vice President of Operations at NSALA, this milestone is a moment to honor those behind the scenes. “This is our chance to celebrate the rock stars working tirelessly… to save animal lives,” she stated, highlighting the significant impact of the tour since its inception in 2001.
