The Return of Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day to Paris: Celebrating Chinese Creativity

Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day Returns to Paris

On September 29, 2025, Paris welcomed back the Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day for its highly anticipated second edition, featuring the best of Chinese fashion as part of the "Welcome to Paris" initiative by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. This vibrant event, organized by the Bay Area Sustainable Fashion Alliance (BASFA) and supported by Futian District in Shenzhen, aimed to enhance cultural exchange while promoting the innovative spirit of Chinese fashion on an international stage.

A Celebration of Modern Femininity

This year's showcase highlighted three distinctive women’s fashion brands – NEXY.CO, YINER, and LAURÈL, each representing unique interpretations of modern femininity. NEXY.CO, a luxury label under the EEKA Fashion group, unveiled its Spring-Summer 2026 collection titled "The Time of MULAN," which pays tribute to resilient and sophisticated women of today. The collection blends European refinement with Eastern heritage, reflecting a rich cultural narrative.

YINER, a prominent brand from the YINGER Fashion group, embraced a minimalist elegance enriched with cross-cultural influences. Their collection themed "The Order of Nature" elegantly used fruit as a metaphor for growth, skillfully inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, showcasing natural forms through fashion.

LAURÈL, originally founded in Munich and now part of the Ellassay group, drew from Bauhaus aesthetics and German craftsmanship to present their collection "The Eternity of Order." This line features bold cuts and natural materials that explore geometry and timeless femininity.

Futian: A New Fashion Hub

Futian is becoming a strategic center for fashion alongside finance and technology in China. In 2024, the fashion industry contributed about 15% of the region’s GDP, bolstered by over 1,700 sizable enterprises with annual revenues exceeding 524 billion yuan. The Bay Area Fashion Center (BAFC) acts as a vital hub, bringing together more than 30 major brands, establishing Futian as a global fashion innovation center.

Embracing Innovation

This edition of the event was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding between BASFA and Luxurynsight, a French SaaS platform that supports luxury brands’ global expansion. With cutting-edge analytical tools now available to Futian's fashion houses, the event integrated an AI-generated soundtrack, blending traditional and digital creativity.

Futian is also investing in intelligent wearables, digital avatars, and AI-driven fashion, setting a trend for future innovations. The establishment of a new campus by the Istituto Marangoni in Futian further cements the district's role as a global fashion reference.

The Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day 2025 shines a spotlight on a new generation of Chinese designers, merging creative excellence with emerging technologies and an international outlook. This event not only celebrated fashion but also emphasized the ongoing evolution of cultural dialogue through this powerful medium.
