Every summer, the skies above Santa Claus, Indiana, transform into a dazzling display of lights and colors as Holiday World & Splashin' Safari presents its much-anticipated drone and fireworks show, 'Holidays in the Sky.' This year, from June 21 to August 3, the show promises to be brighter and more spectacular than ever, featuring a staggering lineup of 500 synchronized drones, some carrying captivating pyrotechnics that elevate the visual experience to new heights.

The opening of the 2025 season marks the fourth iteration of this beloved summer event, and attendees are in for quite a treat. Lauren Crosby, the Director of Events & Entertainment at Holiday World, stated, "We keep finding new ways to make Holidays in the Sky more impressive. The new pyrotechnic elements are taking the show to the next level—you truly have to see it to believe it!"

Each evening at 8:50 PM, the festivities kick off in a thrilling display of light and sound. Throughout the show, two notable pyrotechnic moments will leave audiences in awe: a lightning strike crashing into a haunted house and the formation of rocket-shaped drones that simulate an actual rocket launch with explosive fireworks.

One of the standout moments of this year's production includes a humorous take on Thanksgiving, featuring a parody song titled "Pour Some Gravy on Me," performed by the dynamic Happy New Month Band from Evansville, Indiana. The song cleverly adapts the classic tune 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' by Def Leppard into a festive ode to the season, showcasing the group's undeniable talent and energy. Leah Koch-Blumhardt, the Director of Communications for Holiday World, expressed her excitement: "What we do best at Holiday World is downright silliness. Happy New Month is full of such great talent and energy, and they served up a perfect performance. We even dumped a five-gallon bucket of gravy on a Thanksgiving table at the end!"

The theme park, recognized as the Best Theme Park of 2024 by HomeToGo, is renowned for its thrilling rides, including the award-winning Good Gravy! Family Coaster, recently named the Best New Attraction of 2024 by USA Today.
