Recent Utilization Trends at KOMEHYO SHINJUKU
In an analysis conducted during the first half of 2025, KOMEHYO SHINJUKU gathered insights into customer behaviors regarding buying and selling.
Top Jewelry and Precious Metals Trends
In the jewelry and precious metals sector, leading brands include Van Cleef & Arpels, BVLGARI, and TIFFANY, known for their high sales volumes. The Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra series has proven particularly popular across various age demographics, including men. Mikimoto, ranked sixth, has recently seen growth in purchases due to the rising popularity of Akoya pearls both domestically and internationally.
Watch Market Highlights
ROLEX continues to dominate the resale market, known for its brand recognition, popularity, and resale value. Patek Philippe ranks second and maintains an exceptional position among luxury watch enthusiasts. Cartier, primarily a jewelry brand, appeals to those with a keen fashion sense.
Handbag Insights
Hermes, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton form the top three luxury handbag brands, consistently leading both purchases and sales. While Louis Vuitton's availability is widespread, Hermes often tops the resale figures, especially with demand for its iconic Birkin and Kelly bags. KOMEHYO ensures quality by employing skilled appraisers and using AI technology to prevent counterfeit products from entering the market.
Apparel Purchasing Trends
In fashion, the same French luxury brands are leading in terms of buy-back prices. Moncler is noteworthy as its demand remains high year-round; items like the 'MAYA' for men and 'HERMINE' for women are particularly sought after. Despite continuous price increases, KOMEHYO offers competitive prices for these high-demand items.
Exciting Anniversary Promotions
For the anniversary, KOMEHYO SHINJUKU is set to feature specially priced items inspired by the number five, alongside discount opportunities ranging from 5% to 50%. This initiative aims to allow many to own pieces they've long desired at unexpected prices.
Customer Appreciation Events
Visiting customers purchasing items will receive a complimentary KOMEHYO original character cookie, while those who take pictures in a designated photo spot will be gifted an exclusive badge, both offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
