From November 8 to November 30, 2025, take a culinary journey to Shizuoka as 15 prestigious restaurants in Tokyo's Nihonbashi come together to showcase the rich flavors of Shizuoka's Central region. This unique collaboration, known as the "Nihonbashi Shizuoka Cafe," aims to highlight local delicacies from five cities and two towns in the region: Shizuoka City, Shimada, Yaizu, Fujieda, Makinohara, Yoshida Town, and Kawanehon Town.

The initiative aims to draw attention to the local produce that thrives in Shizuoka, including the exclusive "Sakura Ebi" (sweet shrimp), which is freshly caught from Suruga Bay, and high-quality yuzu citrus from Kawanehon Town. This special event will feature limited-time menu items that reflect the traditional culinary art of Japan, carefully crafted by renowned chefs at the participating restaurants.

A Taste of Shizuoka’s Seasonality

Each restaurant will offer unique dishes featuring seasonal ingredients from Shizuoka. For example, "Yukari" will present a course featuring miso-glazed "Orito Eggplant" and exquisite fried treats made with "Sakura Ebi" and ginkgo nuts.
