GFI Software Partners with Zebra Systems in North America

In a strategic move aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing partner support, GFI Software, a recognized leader in AI-driven security and communication solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has announced that Zebra Systems LLC will be its primary distribution partner in North America. This partnership marks a significant consolidation of GFI's North American distribution efforts, set to take effect on April 21, 2026.

For over 15 years, Zebra Systems has been GFI's top-performing distributor in Europe. This track record of success caught the attention of GFI's CEO, Eric Vaughan, who recognized the potential for Zebra's expertise in the U.S. market. Vaughan had discussions with Zebra's CEO, Zdenek Binek, two years ago, encouraging the latter to expand their operations to North America. “Zebra has consistently been our strongest distributor globally,” said Vaughan. “The North American market needed the same partner-oriented, technically proficient approach they had successfully developed in Europe.”

Strategic Focus on Partner Enablement

The new partnership aims to enhance the experience for resellers, offering them a suite of tools and resources that include a purpose-built webshop for easier ordering, dedicated technical and sales support from GFI specialists, and tailored training programs designed to foster business growth. The investment in these resources aligns with GFI's commitment to simplifying its channel strategy and empowering its partners to thrive.

Paul Trefonas, Vice President of GFI Sales North America at Zebra Systems, emphasized the importance of this initiative: “We are committed to being the growth engine for GFI partners in North America. Our team is well-versed in these products, and we are investing substantially in the necessary resources and support that resellers need to succeed.”

Additionally, this announcement comes with the conclusion of GFI’s distribution agreement with Climb Channel Solutions, set to wrap up on the same date. Vaughan recognized Climb's contributions, thanking them for their support of the reseller community during their partnership.

Transitioning to Zebra Systems

Resellers currently associated with Climb are encouraged to reach out to Zebra Systems in preparation for a seamless transition. The existing subscriptions and licenses will automatically transfer, ensuring continuity of service. The team at Zebra Systems is ready to assist with onboarding, making the transition as smooth as possible for all current partners.
