The advancement of granulated miso production is made possible by Kanesa Co., headquartered in Aomori City. Last September, they inaugurated their third production facility, the Kanesa Granulated Miso Factory, which follows the traditional Banjyu Factory that produces Tsugaru miso and the Parami Miso Factory that employs a unique manufacturing method. The new factory boasts an impressive production capacity, capable of producing 100 million servings—doubling previous outputs and ensuring a robust supply of granulated miso. All of Marukome's granulated miso products are produced domestically by Kanesa.
