Join the Halloween Spirit at Rural King's Pet-O-Ween Celebration on October 24

Get Ready for Pet-O-Ween at Rural King

Rural King, a beloved family-owned retailer committed to rural living, is gearing up to host its highly anticipated annual event, Pet-O-Ween, on October 24. This fun-filled Halloween celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at participating Rural King locations, excluding stores in Ohio. Pet lovers are encouraged to dress up their furry friends and livestock in creative costumes for a chance to win exciting prizes!

What to Expect at the Event

At Pet-O-Ween, customers can enter their animals into one of two categories: Pet or Livestock. Rural King associates will judge the costumes, with winners announced at 1 p.m.. Each of the participating stores will recognize first, second, and third place for both categories, and all winners will receive a 15-inch XL Billie Goat plush toy, along with coupons that can be used for either Purina pet food or Nutrena livestock feed. The number of coupons awarded is based on the place: first-place recipients get six coupons, second-place gets four, and third-place winners will receive two.

This year's Billie Goat plush honors the memory of Billie Jean Lawyer, the mother of Rural King's Pet Buyer, Blayne Lawyer. A devoted animal lover, Billie Jean's family farm showcased her love for various animals, from goats and sheep to dogs and cats. This tribute keeps her spirit alive during the event and symbolizes the bond between pets and their families.

Special Offers and Giveaways

To enhance the festivity, Rural King will offer additional giveaways and special in-store promotions throughout the day. The first 50 customers will receive a free Mini Billie Goat plush, while the first 100 customers can enjoy 50% off eligible Purina pet treats packed in a limited-edition **Pet-O-Ween
