Experience the Seasonal Joy of Matcha with Cheese in New Drink Matcha Fromage

Seasonal Delight: Introducing 'MATCHA FROMAGE'

As spring transitions into early summer, Cheese Garden, part of the Colowide Group and headquartered in Tochigi, Japan, is set to delight taste buds with a new seasonal café drink called 'MATCHA FROMAGE.' This unique beverage will be available starting April 8, 2026, across 14 selected locations.

This aesthetic drink perfectly represents the harmonious blend of Japanese and Western flavors. The drink features a beautiful contrast of green and white colors, making it a visual treat as well as a delicious one. The signature rare cheesecake 'NASU WHITE Fromage Blanc' elevates this drink into a charming parfait-like experience.

Drink Varieties

Cheese Garden will be introducing three exciting drinks in its MATCHA FROMAGE lineup:

1. Matcha Rare Cheesecake Drink (900 yen, tax included)
This refreshing drink combines matcha sauce and vanilla syrup layered with whipped cream, topped with the creamy 'NASU WHITE Fromage Blanc.' Traditionally made from special matcha powder from Nishio, Aichi, this drink is further enhanced with matcha bavarois, matcha sauce, and crispy burnt rice puffs, offering a delightful mix of flavors and textures.

2. Matcha Frozen Fromage (850 yen, tax included)
This frozen delight features a smooth matcha bavarois layered with Cheese Garden's original cheese foam. The drink blends Nishio matcha powder and sauce with milk and ice, creating a rich matcha milk frozen dessert. Topped with whipped cream and crispy burnt rice puffs, this drink offers an indulgent texture and a satisfying flavor profile.

3. Matcha Kokumitsu Fromage Latte (750 yen, tax included)
This latte offers a delightful medley of flavors, combining rich kokumitsu syrup, ice, milk, a hint of vanilla syrup, and matcha base. Topped with fluffy cheese foam and Nishio matcha powder, this exquisite drink features a vibrant marbled look that is as beautiful as it is delicious, harmonizing the flavors of matcha’s slight bitterness with the sweetness of the syrup and the creaminess of the cheese foam.
