TE Connectivity Achieves Major Sustainability Milestone with 80% Emission Reduction

TE Connectivity's Sustainability Progress Report

TE Connectivity, a prominent global leader in connectors and sensors, has made impressive strides in sustainability, officially reporting a remarkable reduction of 80% in its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions from September 2020 to October 2024. This achievement significantly exceeds the company's original target of a 70% reduction and highlights its commitment to tackling environmental challenges.

In its latest annual report titled One Connected World, released recently, TE Connectivity's CEO, Terrence Curtin, emphasized that these corporate responsibility ambitions meet the expectations set by global customers and normative industry standards. This report underscores the company's proactive approach in addressing emissions reduction, promoting innovation, and fostering inclusion across its operations.

Curtin noted, “Our team has made significant strides toward these goals. As we look ahead, we will continue to enhance energy efficiency, promote less carbon-intensive product designs, and collaborate with our supply chain partners to define clear expectations.” This forward-thinking approach aims to ensure that sustainability and high performance are interwoven into the company's operations.
