Innovating Low-Budget Advertising with AI: A New Era in Visual Production

Transforming Low-Budget Advertising Through AI

As the advertising landscape continues to evolve, CH Holdings, a prominent creative enterprise based in Tokyo, is establishing a new venture aimed at revolutionizing low-budget advertising. Set to launch in October 2025, Mannaka Inc. will specialize in AI-driven video production, focusing on enhancing the quality and efficiency of advertising content.

The Driving Force Behind Mannaka

In recent years, production costs in the video industry have soared, while a shortage of skilled labor has emerged as a critical issue. This is particularly challenging for smaller projects, where maintaining high quality often proves difficult. On the other hand, advancements in generative AI offer a promising solution. Technology in scriptwriting, imagery, video, and audio creation presents new opportunities that can be harnessed to address these industry challenges.

Recognizing an incremental adoption of AI in advertising, Mannaka plans to concentrate initially on the 'compact budget' sector, which includes localized and smaller-scale projects. By doing so, the company aims to gather substantial experience and conduct hands-on research that can eventually broaden its capabilities and applications across larger projects.

Future Aspirations

Mannaka’s aspirations extend beyond mere production; the firm aspires to collaborate with major advertisers and agencies to establish AI-led video production as a standard in the advertising industry. By leveraging a streamlined, small-team approach, the company seeks to achieve high-quality output at unprecedented speeds and lower costs. This transformative process will allow for creative expressions that surpass traditional constraints, significantly contributing to the advertising sector's evolution and competitive edge.

In its quest to promote AI video production, Mannaka will extend its services to various sectors, including workshops and seminars aimed at production companies and educational institutions.

A Message from the CEO

"We want to put ‘true value’ at the heart of our creative process in advertising videos. Rather than just producing quickly and cheaply, we collaborate with AI to actualize impactful and meaningful content,” states Atsushi Nomura, CEO of Mannaka Inc.

About Atsushi Nomura

Atsushi Nomura's journey as a creative began during his time at Musashino Art University, where he started as a CG designer. He later ventured into the commercial production sector, ultimately establishing a successful freelance career in 2010. Over the years, he has worked on a diverse range of projects, encompassing sports, food, drama, and comedy. More recently, Nomura has been at the forefront of exploring AI in creative expression and implementing these innovations in business strategies. Furthermore, from April 2025, he will take on the role of principal director for a children's television program.
