Nudge Partners with JCB to Launch Next-Gen Credit Card



Nudge Inc., based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has teamed up with the renowned JCB Co., Ltd. from Minato, Tokyo, to unveil a next-generation credit card known as the "Nudge Card." Starting September 29, 2025, the Nudge Card will be issued under the JCB brand, providing users with access to the vast network of approximately 56 million JCB partner stores worldwide.

The initial rollout targets members of the Nudge Design Club, allowing for credit card applications that will grant them access to JCB's brand offerings both domestically and overseas. This collaboration aims to introduce a wider range of cards featuring partnerships with artists, celebrities, and beloved characters, enhancing the selection available to cardholders.

While traditional credit cards have been favored for their benefits such as accumulating points and smooth transactions, the Nudge Card focuses on meeting young users' preferences.   • - Card Design Options: 20 Color Collection and 14 Art Collection styles available
  • - Issuance Fees: Free for the first card in the Color Collection; subsequent cards or the Art Collection costs 3,000 JPY each (tax included).
  • - Features: Contactless payments, EMV 3-D Secure for enhanced safety, and no card numbers displayed.

Application Process


1. Download the Nudge app and apply for membership.
2. Select the Design Club or Nudge Club.
3. Choose your card design.
4. Approval can lead to virtual card issuance on the same day, with physical cards arriving within five business days.

Repayment Options


Users can choose from two flexible repayment options:
  • - Repay anytime they wish
  • - Monthly consolidated payment through automatic bank withdrawal
