AIP Publishing Introduces Igor Kaganovich as New Editor-in-Chief
AIP Publishing has recently made a significant announcement regarding the Physics of Plasmas journal. Igor Kaganovich, who is affiliated with the U.S. Department of Energy's Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), has been appointed as the new editor-in-chief. He will officially take on this role starting December 1, 2025.

His work in these areas has garnered him recognition with approximately 200 publications, showcasing his expertise and contributions to plasma theory, interaction studies, and advances in plasma thruster technology.
Kaganovich's career achievements include being named a fellow of the American Physical Society in 2007 and receiving the PPPL Kaul Foundation Prize for Excellence in Plasma Physics Research in 2019. These accolades reflect his longstanding commitment and significant contributions to the field of plasma physics.
