Lineage2M Enhancements: Skill Improvements and New Features Coming Soon
On April 22, 2026, NC Corporation will roll out an impressive update for their next-generation open-world RPG, Lineage2M. This update is set to improve gameplay across six weapon types: one-handed swords, two-handed swords, dual-wielding, chainswords, rapiers, and orbs. Players can expect not only improved skill functionality but also less downtime with reduced reuse times for certain skills.
One highlighted change is the enhancement of the heroic skill "Toughness" for one-handed swords, which will now increase damage reduction effects. Similarly, the legendary skill "Drain" for two-handed swords will feature a shortened reuse time, allowing players to use it more frequently in battle. Meanwhile, adjustments made to the chainsword skill "Bloody Force" will prevent the accumulation from being removed by other staff skills such as "Cancel" and "Stigma". The mythic skill "Bloody Moon" will shift from an area-effect capability to a skill that grants periodic intimidation while also being immune to the "Remove" effect of the Magic Cannon.
In addition, the legendary skill "Vampiric Shield" will transition its immunity effect against the "Pain of Karma" to a passive effect, making it more advantageous for players.
For dual-wielding characters, the hero-level skill "Dual Parry" will now grant an increased attack capability, casting speed, and movement speed buff upon successful defense, while the legendary skill "Dual Impact" will include a chance to enhance evasion following a successful defense.
The rapier also received noteworthy improvements, with the legendary skill "Rapier-ism" gaining enhanced passive resistance against being immobilized, while "Stun Resistance" and "Status Ailment Resistance" effects have been converted to passive buffs. The legendary skill "Spiral Sting" will see an increase in damage amplification as a passive effect, while skills like "Traceless" and "Light Step" will now passively enhance movement speed.
Updating the orb category, the legendary skills "Play" and "Full Heal" will experience a reduced time requirement for skill enhancements once the orb is equipped. Furthermore, adjustments have been made to the game mechanics regarding players who wait too long in certain content; characters engaged in combat will no longer be forcibly removed, enhancing the overall experience.
