CUBITTS: Introducing British Eyewear to Japan
In an exciting development within the eyewear industry, British brand CUBITTS is poised to launch its full-scale operations in Japan starting in the Spring/Summer 2025 season, thanks to import and sales efforts spearheaded by Greenwich Co., Ltd. Since its inception in 2013 near King's Cross Station in London, CUBITTS has garnered significant popularity in both the UK and the USA. The brand name pays homage to the famous 19th-century British architect, Lewis Cubitt, whose architectural essence is captured in the brand's signature designs.
A Unique Design Philosophy
CUBITTS stands out with its distinctive butterfly-shaped rivet, inspired by a design element used in Cubitt's architectural works, famously seen in King's Cross Station. This brand symbol is ingeniously incorporated into their eyewear, serving both aesthetic and functional purposes. The rivet connects the rim and temple of the eyewear, reflecting a blend of innovation and traditional craftsmanship. CUBITTS aims to modernize the three-century-old eyewear industry by integrating innovative technologies while maintaining a meticulous focus on detail.
A Fit for Everyone
Recognizing that each individual has unique fitting needs, CUBITTS offers an extensive range of sizes. By managing every aspect from design to production and retail in-house, the brand keeps distribution costs low while ensuring high quality and classical beauty in their eyewear, including both authentic and avant-garde models that cater to diverse tastes in Japan.
