RONGO ACADEMIA 2025: A Dive into Confucian Teachings

The esteemed Nishogakusha University is set to host the 'RONGO ACADEMIA' event on December 6, 2025. This annual program is dedicated to exploring the timeless wisdom of Confucius and aims to bring together scholars and practitioners alike. The event will take place in the Nakasu Memorial Hall, located on the B2 level of the Kudan No. 1 building.

Event Details

The event will kick off at 2 PM and is expected to conclude around 4 PM. Doors will open at 1:30 PM, so participants are encouraged to arrive early. With two profound lectures scheduled for the day, attendees will gain insights into the application of Confucian teachings in contemporary organizational contexts.

The Speakers

The lectures will feature prominent speakers who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.

• - Teruakatsu Kato, the CEO of Tsumura Co., will deliver the first lecture titled "Principles of Management Aligned with the Laws of Nature and Heaven: Organizational and Human Capital Development through Tsumura Academy." This talk will delve into how Confucian principles can guide effective management practices.
• - The second lecture, "Experiencing Confucius through Recitation," will be presented by Sadako Yasuoka, the director of the Public Interest Foundation Yasunaka and an authority on Confucian philosophy. This session will explore the traditional practice of reciting the Analects and its relevance today.

Registration Details

Participation in RONGO ACADEMIA is free, but registration is mandatory. Interested individuals must register by noon on December 5, 2025. Please note that the registration will close once the capacity is reached.

Note: A confirmation will not be sent post-registration, so please arrive at the venue on the event day.
