This winter, the Odakyu Hotel Century Southern Tower in Shibuya, Tokyo, will offer an exciting menu inspired by the winners of its 6th internal cooking contest. Internal Cooking Contest: A Platform for Creativity


Every year since 2020, this hotel has hosted the internal cooking contest to encourage staff members to showcase their culinary creativity. 1. Vegan Cuisine Winner: Naoki Tada - “Vegan Ravioli with Tomato and Basil” - ¥2,232 (¥2,700). This dish showcases ravioli made with pea protein-based meat substitute, served with fresh basil sauce sourced from hydroponically grown sweet basil at the hotel.

2. Vegetarian Cuisine Winners: Hinata Watanabe and Chie Tanabe - “Winter Artistic Salad” - ¥2,066 (¥2,500). A visually appealing salad designed to look beautiful in a glass bowl that celebrates the color and variety of winter vegetables.

3. Dessert Winner: Hayato Kishi - “Carrot Mousse with Ginger and Extra Virgin Olive Oil” - ¥1,487 (¥1,800). This dessert fully utilizes carrots by transforming them into a smooth mousse, along with ginger for an aromatic finish, minimizing food waste.

These creations will be offered from December 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, at the hotel's Sazan Tower Dining located on the 20th floor. Guests can enjoy these dishes as part of a la carte options or as part of a dinner course featuring a variety of Tokyo-grown vegetables.
