JTB and Panasonic Collaborate for Unique Photography Events in National Parks

In a remarkable initiative, JTB Corporation, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, has partnered with Panasonic Entertainment & Communications Company, based in Moriguchi, Osaka, to host a series of photography experience events in Japan's national parks. This collaboration is part of the Ministry of the Environment's official partner program for national parks, aimed at raising awareness for environmental conservation by capturing and sharing the beauty of nature.

Event Background and Purpose

This upcoming photography event seeks to highlight the natural beauty and importance of Japan's national parks within the scope of the Ministry of the Environment's official partner system. The main goal is to elevate public consciousness regarding environmental preservation through the art of photography. Not only does this event provide an opportunity for participants to engage with nature, but it also fosters deeper connections between members of the LUMIX community across the country, while promoting sustainable tourism.

Participants will have the chance to learn from professional photographers during workshops and receive complimentary access to high-quality LUMIX cameras and lenses, allowing them to capture stunning images of breathtaking landscapes. The nominal participation fee of 500 yen will be entirely used as J-credits to offset the carbon footprint of each event, ensuring that attendees can enjoy a creative experience while contributing to environmental sustainability.
