Brent Hutto Appointed to Board of the Texas Trucking Association

In a significant move for the trucking community, Brent Hutto, the Chief Relationship Officer of Truck Parking Club, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Texas Trucking Association (TXTA). This announcement comes as Texas emerges as the largest market for Truck Parking Club, boasting over 700 property member locations and nearly 14,000 truck and trailer parking spaces. With this new role, Hutto is set to address the pressing challenges in the trucking sector, particularly those related to truck parking.

Founded in 1932, the Texas Trucking Association serves as the unified voice for the trucking industry across the state, representing a broad spectrum of member companies ranging from small family-owned fleets to large Fortune 500 carriers. The board plays a pivotal role in overseeing the effective management of the association’s operations, approving the annual budget, and advocating on behalf of both the public and industry members. After two decades immersed in freight technology and media, including notable positions as Chief Relationship Officer at Truckstop and leadership roles at Randall Reilly, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at Truck Parking Club. Since joining the company in 2025, he has focused on enhancing relationships within the trucking sector. Hutto expressed his enthusiasm for the appointment, emphasizing how discussions around truck parking often lead back to Texas, a state that has become synonymous with trucking freight movement and driver logistics.
