FūūBi Showcases Sustainable Furniture at Orgatec Tokyo 2026
FūūBi, the innovative interior brand by Maeda Giken Co., Ltd., is set to exhibit at the upcoming Orgatec Tokyo 2026, held from June 2 to June 4, 2026. This year's theme,
“ENTERRING A NEW PHASE,” highlights a commitment to sustainable design and innovative usage of materials.
About FūūBi
FūūBi’s name originates from the Japanese words representing growth and beauty, reflecting the brand's mission to cultivate beautiful, eco-conscious products. Since its inception in October 2023, the brand has embraced a philosophy that intertwines
naturally derived materials,
the repurposing of waste materials, and
traditional Japanese crafting techniques.
New Products Introduced
Following the presentation of concept models at the previous Orgatec Tokyo 2025, FūūBi will unveil new additions to its product line at Orgatec Tokyo 2026. The exhibition will feature:
- - Two types of stools enhanced with beautiful fabrics for comfort.
- - A side table adorned with natural wood, merging functionality with aesthetic appeal.
Each piece signifies FūūBi's evolution as it steps into a new phase, promising attendees an experience that blends artfulness with practicality.
Commitment to Environmental Issues
FūūBi places great emphasis on addressing environmental challenges through its production methods. The brand’s strategies include:
Upcycling Waste Materials
In an effort to diminish waste, FūūBi transforms materials that would otherwise be discarded into valuable, creative products. This upcycling process adds new life to these materials, allowing them to be reborn into entirely different creations.
Eco-Friendly Manufacturing Methods
FūūBi’s furniture is crafted using a 3D printing technique that maximizes efficiency and minimizes waste. By melting materials and layering them, the manufacturing process significantly reduces environmental impact.
Circular Economy Practices
FūūBi encourages consumers to consider alternatives to disposal when their furniture is no longer needed. Unused items can be reverted back to raw materials, promoting effective use of our limited resources. This commitment to circularity is foundational to the brand’s operations, aiming to extend the lifecycle of its products sustainably.
