2025 Graduation Exhibition at Musashino Art University
Starting from January 15, 2026, Musashino Art University, located in Kodaira City, Tokyo, is hosting its highly anticipated
2025 Graduation Exhibition at two different campuses. This event, running until January 18 at the Takadadai campus and from January 30 to February 1 at the Ichigaya campus, serves as a grand showcase of the creativity and talent cultivated at this esteemed institution.
Exhibition Overview
The
2025 Graduation Exhibition will convert the vast campuses into galleries featuring over
1,200 artworks from undergraduate and graduate students poised to graduate in March 2026. The exhibited pieces will span a multitude of mediums and genres, including traditional Japanese painting, oil paintings, animation, films, photography, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, installations, architectural models, and industrial design. The Ichigaya campus's exhibition will specifically highlight works from the Department of Creative Innovation, which was established in 2019, as well as output from graduate students in the Creative Leadership course.

- - Participants: Approximately 1,000 students from various undergraduate departments and around 150 graduate students from all courses in the Graduate School of Art and Design.
- - Access: An 18-minute walk from the Seibu Kokubunji Line “Takadadai” station, or a 25-minute bus ride from either JR Kokubunji or Tachikawa stations directly to the university.
Special Events During the Exhibition
Simultaneously, on January 17 and 18, an
Open Campus will be held alongside the graduation exhibition. This is tailored for high school students and their guardians interested in learning about the university.
