Course Details

This seminar provides a structured approach to learning about statistical validation methods necessary for analytical method validation. It covers essential topics, including:
  • - Basic statistics review to ensure foundational knowledge.
  • - Understanding key concepts such as parallel precision, accuracy, repeatability, and linearity.
  • - Evaluation of measurement precision based on ISO 5725 standards.
  • - Techniques for various analyses, including branch variance analysis, nonlinear regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis.

Seminar Agenda

1. Quick Review of Basic Statistics
- Standard deviation, 95% confidence intervals for population means, correlation coefficients, regression analysis, and diagnosis.

2. Parallel Precision
- Fundamentals of parallel precision, calculating 95% confidence intervals, and separating experimental data into level effects and experimental errors.

3. Accuracy
- Exploring accuracy fundamentals and different measurement approaches for a comprehensive 95% confidence interval.

4. Repeatability
- Analysis of typical designs, focusing on repeatability errors and their summation with daily variations to derive confidence intervals.

5. Measurement Precision Evaluation (ISO 5725)
- Understanding the structure of data obtained in laboratories, covering concepts through management charts and analysis using Excel.

6. Linearity Analysis
- Assessing linearity in analytical method validation while determining practical responses when non-linearity is detected.

7. Nonlinear Regression Analysis
- Overview of logistic regression methods and calculation techniques.

8. Multiple Regression Analysis
- Understanding multiple regression analysis through case studies, evaluating predictive performance.

Target Audience

This seminar is suitable for:
  • - Those who have basic statistics knowledge (confidence intervals, one-way ANOVA).
  • - Professionals responsible for analytical method validation in pharmaceuticals.
  • - Individuals involved in precision management of measurements in any laboratory setting.
