Işil Kanyilmaz: A Journey of Resilience

One example of this empowerment is Işil Kanyilmaz, a marketing manager based in Turkey. Through dedication and innovation, she has transformed her small team into a robust corporate entity over just three years. Reflecting on her professional journey, she acknowledges the unique challenges women face in the construction industry. Kanyilmaz encourages young women pursuing careers in similar fields to break stereotypes and chase their dreams unwaveringly. "Witnessing the contributions we can make is immensely fulfilling," she states.

A pivotal success for Kanyilmaz and her team was their participation in the Komatek 2024 tradeshow, where they showcased their hard work and meticulous preparation. Karen Souza: Bridging Cultures through Business

In Brazil, Karen Souza serves as an international business analyst, where her role has evolved significantly since joining as a commercial analyst three years ago. She is responsible for managing exports to multiple countries, including Chile, Colombia, Guyana, and the U.S. Her achievements were acknowledged when she received the award for one of the top 30 employees in 2023. "Working with different cultures presents challenges, especially with language barriers," she explains, adding that her English communication skills have improved significantly thanks to her role and exposure.

Souza expresses how grateful she is for the opportunities offered through XCMG’s training programs. Her participation in the XCMG Apprentice Season 9 and the Global Training initiative were highlights of her career, allowing her to connect with colleagues globally and experience the hospitality of China firsthand.

Angela Gustiwong: Crossing Borders and Building Networks

Angela Gustiwong joined XCMG Indonesia as a marketing insight specialist in July 2024. Her experience as a participant in the XCMG Apprentice Season 9 underscored not just her technical training but also the value of cultural exchange. “The program promotes professionalism across all cultures, enabling us to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively,” she notes.
