Women Who Inspire Luncheon 2026
The upcoming Women Who Inspire luncheon, organized by
Dress for Success® Worldwide, is set to take place on
September 30, 2026, at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York City. This annual event celebrates the contributions of women leaders across various sectors and emphasizes the importance of togetherness in achieving progress, under the theme
Rise Together.
This year’s luncheon will feature a special tribute to the legendary
Gloria Steinem, an acclaimed activist and writer whose groundbreaking work has significantly influenced the women's movement globally. Her courageous advocacy and visionary leadership have motivated countless individuals to voice their dreams and fight against systemic barriers.
During the event, Gloria Steinem was expected to speak about her latest book,
An Unexpected Life, but will now be honored through a discussion led by two notable figures:
Julianna Margulies, a talented actress and three-time Emmy Award winner, and
Amy Richards, an accomplished producer and writer. Together, they will celebrate Steinem's remarkable contributions and lifelong commitment to equality for women and girls around the world.
Joanie Bily, the CEO of
Dress for Success Worldwide, remarked on the impact of Steinem’s lifelong dedication, emphasizing how her efforts have championed lasting change for women. "Gloria’s courage, wisdom, and unwavering commitment have paved the way for women across the globe, and it is an incredible honor for us to pay tribute to her extraordinary legacy," said Bily.
The Women Who Inspire luncheon also aims to acknowledge various organizations and partners that advocate for equal access and opportunities for women. The event underlines the collective action necessary to enhance the economic mobility of women and stresses the importance of investing in supportive programs and services that uplift families and communities.
Multiple corporate sponsors have come together to support this impactful event, including
