Paxton Wiffler Honored with Member of the Year Award
In a notable recognition for his contributions to the field of long-term care, Paxton Wiffler, Chief Operating Officer of Monarch Healthcare Management, has been awarded the 2024 Member of the Year by Care Providers of Minnesota. This honor was presented during the organization’s 76th annual convention and exposition held in Minneapolis in November.
The Chair of Care Providers of Minnesota's Board of Directors, Amanda Johnson, praised Wiffler, stating, "Paxton's name is synonymous with performance, commitment, and service. His historical knowledge and understanding of senior care are just some of the reasons he was selected for this prestigious award."
With over 35 years of accumulated experience in various specialty healthcare operations, Wiffler has held roles from single-site management to executive leadership in publicly held companies. He has made significant impacts not only on the long-term care profession but also specifically on Care Providers of Minnesota. Currently, Wiffler serves on the organization's Board of Directors and has played an integral part in numerous committees.
Toby Pearson, the president and CEO of Care Providers of Minnesota, remarked about Wiffler's influence, noting, "Paxton's drive and passion have greatly enhanced our profession, improving the lives of those we serve. This recognition is both well-earned and well-deserved."
In response to receiving the award, Wiffler expressed his gratitude, saying, "To be recognized by the association, my peers, and the wonderful organization I work for was a tremendous honor. Working in this segment of the healthcare industry has been a privilege, and I am thankful for the incredible and compassionate people I have encountered along the way. Their dedication and support have been invaluable."
Established in 1971, the Member of the Year Award is awarded annually to an individual who has notably contributed their time, energy, and expertise to Care Providers of Minnesota and the long-term care sector. This year's award was presented by Toby Pearson and Amanda Johnson.
