Kavalan Distillery Launches Limited Edition 15-Year-Old Whisky

Taipei, Taiwan – On March 11, 2025, Kavalan Distillery announced the launch of its first-ever age-statement whisky, the Kavalan 15 Years Old Single Malt Whisky, which is both a celebration of time and craftsmanship. This release marks a significant milestone for the distillery, which has redefined whisky-making since its inception in 2006.

The Kavalan 15 Years Old is a product of meticulous maturation, utilizing four distinct types of barrels: ex-Bourbon, Oloroso Sherry, Ruby Port, and Puncheon. This innovative approach aims to capture and blend the unique flavors from each barrel type, resulting in a whisky that showcases depth and complexity.

The launch date is particularly poignant, as it commemorates the anniversary of Kavalan's first distilled spirit back in 2006. From the initial droplets produced, the distillery has pursued excellence, transforming its processes while pushing the boundaries of whisky craftsmanship.

The 2025 edition of the Kavalan 15 Years Old will be limited to only 30,000 bottles worldwide, making it a highly sought-after spirit among collectors and whisky enthusiasts alike.
