Experience Automotive Culture at the Los Angeles Auto Show's The Underground Showcase

Introducing 'The Underground': A Vibrant Exhibition at the Los Angeles Auto Show

Los Angeles is renowned for its rich automotive culture, and this year, the Los Angeles Auto Show is set to present an innovative exhibition space titled 'The Underground.' This new initiative aims to bring the essence of the city's automobile scene to life, providing an immersive experience for attendees over the course of ten days, from November 21 to 30, 2025, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Celebrating Automotive Creativity

Located in the lower level of the convention center, 'The Underground' is designed as a rotating exhibit that will accentuate the unique vehicle modifications, collaborations, and creativity that define Los Angeles’s automotive culture. Curated by local independent voices, this zone focuses on the creators, artists, modifiers, and storytellers who continue to shape the evolving landscape of automotive culture in Los Angeles. It showcases a personal, candid, and community-driven expression of artistry that resonates with the car enthusiasts.

At the heart of this space is the Creator Studios, an interactive area that gathers influential creators from the automotive world. Notable participants include renowned automotive photographer Larry Chen, drift driver and vehicle builder Hannah Maloof, and visual artist Joshua Vides. Each contributor will present their customized creations, performance setups, and live content releases that blur the lines between art, narrative, and engineering.

Diverse Exhibitors and Unique Experiences

The exhibition won't just spotlight featured creators; it will also highlight various communities that define Los Angeles automotive culture. More than 40 exhibitors will participate, including the Marathon Brand, which promotes local pride and goals through its Marathon Clothing and Marathon Burger ventures. Full Blown Performance will showcase high-powered American muscle cars, while the engaging LumiVerse venue will blend automotive culture with art and nightlife. World Famous 4x4 is set to display striking handcrafted off-road dream vehicles, adding to the vibrancy of the exhibition.

Furthermore, South Bay Pop-Ups will enrich the scene with everyday heroes of Los Angeles’s automotive culture, showcasing lowriders, motorcycles, street cars, and vans that reflect the city's diversity and individuality. Attendees can expect to find rare collectibles and merchandise, including a special collaborative collection with esteemed local street artist OG Slick, featuring limited edition apparel and a commemorative poster for the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show, as well as his customized work "Pineapple Express" and iconic "LA Hands" art installation.
