Celebrating 70 Years of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra
The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra (JPO) proudly announces that it will celebrate its 70th anniversary during the 2026-2027 season. Established in June 1956 and based in Suginami, Tokyo, the orchestra has consistently aimed to deliver high-quality musical experiences. This momentous occasion promises a series of remarkable concerts to be held across Tokyo and Yokohama, showcasing renowned conductors and soloists who have contributed to the orchestra's legacy.
