As spring approaches, now is the perfect time to challenge yourself with a new habit! From March 3rd, Creek and River Co. will be hosting a series of free online seminars entitled "Chris's Lunchtime English Conversation: Listening Foundation and Understanding English" aimed at professionals in the creative industry. Join us to take your English listening skills to the next level in just 15 minutes during your lunch break!

Seminar Details

The first part of the seminar, the Listening Foundation, will cover a variety of themes over several weeks:

- March 3 (Tue): The Day the Nintendo Switch Was Released
- March 10 (Tue): Mario Day
- March 17 (Tue): St. Patrick’s Day
- March 24 (Tue): Cocktail Day
- March 31 (Tue): World Backup Day

For those interested in understanding written English better, we will also hold the Understanding English seminar:

- March 3 (Tue): Mardi Gras (Final Day of Carnival)
- March 10 (Tue): Steve Jobs' Birthday
- March 17 (Tue): The Day the Nintendo Switch Was Released
- March 24 (Tue): Mario Day
- March 31 (Tue): St. Patrick’s Day

Each seminar will last approximately 30 minutes, with the "What Day Is It?" theme allowing participants to learn interesting historical events using simple English vocabulary.

How to Join

Join us online via Zoom every Tuesday starting at 12:15 PM for listening sessions and at 12:45 PM for reading comprehension quizzes.
