Shinhodo Launches Japan-Uzbekistan Future Education Project for Global Talent Development

Shinhodo's Innovative Approach to Education

Shinhodo Corporation, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, proudly champions the motto "Enriching Human Experience Through Education". As a proactive educational entity, they are set to embark on the Japan-Uzbekistan Future Education Project starting June 2025. This initiative aims to create a robust platform for cultivating future talents and enhancing cultural and economic ties between the two nations through a mix of education, language, IT, and neuroscience.

A Vision for Cross-Cultural Learning

The ambitious project is centered around intellectual exchange across various fields, forming a foundational backbone for cooperation between Japan and Uzbekistan. The initial phase will focus on establishing agreements with local universities in Uzbekistan, and will comprehensively promote international exchange primarily in three key areas: education, business, and culture.

Unveiling Uzbekistan's Potential

Uzbekistan is the most populous country in Central Asia, with an average age of just 28 years. Notably, around 60% of its population is under the age of 30, providing a dynamic and abundant labor force. The nation has been undertaking substantial reforms under its national strategy, Digital Uzbekistan 2030, aimed at enhancing its digital landscape. Key initiatives include:
  • - Strengthening IT training across 58 national sites and expanding private educational institutions and overseas university branches.
  • - Implementing state-led ICT education and industrial policies, such as enhancing IT Parks and initiatives like the 1 Million Coder Project.
  • - Aiming to significantly increase the higher education enrollment rate from just 9% in 2017 to over 50% by 2026.

Uzbekistan is globally recognized as a country friendly to Japan and harbors a strong interest in collaboration in human resources and technology.
