Booost and Avant Announce Strategic Partnership for Sustainable Business Practices

Strategic Partnership Between Booost and Avant to Promote Sustainability Management

Booost, a leader in sustainability ERP solutions, has entered a strategic partnership with Avant, a corporate management software provider, to support companies in their sustainability transformations. Based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Booost is known for its contribution to the Sustainability 2026 issue, which highlights the urgency for enterprises to adapt to new sustainability disclosure regulations. The collaboration, effective from September 25, 2025, aims to streamline and enhance sustainability information disclosures and management practices across organizations.

Leveraging Combined Expertise

The partnership combines Booost's "booost Sustainability" ERP system with Avant's management software "AVANT Cruise" to provide businesses with a comprehensive solution. This synergy will offer combined insights and best practices, facilitating support from implementation to sustainable integration of solutions, allowing companies to build a solid foundation for financial and non-financial governance.

As the global landscape for sustainability disclosure standards evolves, Japan is advancing towards mandatory integrated disclosures of financial and non-financial data for prime listed companies by fiscal year 2027. Booost's focus on supporting companies in collecting, analyzing, and revealing non-financial data—such as greenhouse gas emissions and human capital—is crucial in this changing environment. Meanwhile, Avant's extensive experience in corporate management, including mid-term planning, budgeting, and KPI management, positions both entities to overcome challenges related to sustainability.

Concrete Steps in the Partnership

The partnership will focus on the following initiatives:

1. Joint Proposal and Support for Sustainability Disclosure Services:
The two companies will work together to propose cross-functional solutions that address financial and non-financial challenges, including stakeholders from management planning, finance, IR, and sustainability departments. This method is designed to leverage non-financial data strategically, contributing to better sustainability management and integrated KPI measuring, while extending beyond mere compliance with regulations.

2. Enhanced Implementation Support:
By merging Booost's expertise in non-financial data management and reporting with Avant's proficiency in corporate management and consolidated accounting, they will provide consistent support in operational adaptation and management utilization of the "booost Sustainability" system after deployment.

Joint Seminar to Share Insights

To further educate organizations, Booost and Avant will co-host a seminar aimed at corporate management, IR, finance, and sustainability departments of listed companies. This event will present the collaborative efforts of both parties, outlining their specific initiatives and the benefits of integrating financial and non-financial management practices.

Executive Statements

Hiroken Aoi, President and CEO of Booost, stated, "As the regulatory landscape around sustainability disclosures evolves rapidly, companies are increasingly required to develop an integrated management structure that combines financial and non-financial data. Partnering with Avant, which has a wealth of experience in management domains, provides us confidence in guiding businesses towards the next level of sustainable practices."

Takahiro Okabe, CEO of Avant, remarked, "The necessity of sustainability disclosures in corporate management has reached a stage where it should be viewed not just as a compliance issue but as an integral component of overall management. We are excited to collaborate with Booost in innovating how businesses manage their data, ensuring sustainable corporate value enhancement."

Addressing the 2026 Sustainability Challenge

As several companies grapple with compliance for mandatory sustainability disclosures, there is a concern over delayed adoption and a lack of urgency, which could undermine corporate value. Booost aims to confront this "Sustainability 2026 issue" by launching a project in November 2024 titled, "Japan as a Leading Country in SX (Sustainability Transformation)." This initiative encompasses various events and support measures tailored for both executives and on-ground implementers at companies.

Booost’s platform, known for its capabilities in automating the collection of sustainability-related financial data in compliance with international disclosure standards, includes over 1,200 data points aligned with ESG (environmental, social, and governance) metrics. As of September 2025, it has been implemented across more than 2,000 entities in 92 countries, demonstrating its market-leading position.

Through this partnership, Booost and Avant aim to not only assist companies in complying with upcoming regulations but also to support sustainable growth and innovation in the market.
